The Creation of the Air Jordan 1

The Air Jordan 1 was released in 1985 creating the greatest and best selling series of sneakers. Michael Jordan wore his signature Jordan 1s on his rookie year. Since Jordan earned a spot on the NBA All-Star team, Nike was having trouble with finding a brand in the basketball market, so they signed Michael Jordan. They saw potential in him and Nike and Jordan succeeded creating another line of Jordans making it Air Jordan 2.
